For those who need more than a little extra height

40' Mast Install with Guy Wires

A 40' mast freestanding requires 5 sets of guy wires.

Each set of guy wires will run to a 30" anchor in the ground.

The anchors are placed roughly 35' away from the center of the mast.

A mast cannot be erected within 100' of a powerline.
